In the Commissariat for Foreign AffairsThe People's Commissariat for Foreign Affairs informed the embassies and missions in the Moscow that according to the desire expressed by the government of the Democratic Republic of Finland, from December 8th of this year the coast of Finland and the waters adjoining to it from the Tornio River in the north of the Gulf of Bothnia to the meridian of 23°50´E on the Gulf of Finland are blocked. The specified sea strip since December 9th of this year declared as area dangerous for navigation. To the vessels ignoring this notification is not guaranteed the safety navigation in this area. These actions do not affect the Aland archipelago if its waters, directly or indirectly, will not be used by someone for the purpose of military operations against the Democratic Republic of Finland and its People's Government.
